Electro-rock has nearly always been more archaic, however that is beginning to change. There is this upbeat recovery music I came across by Matt Soren that has a new perspective on industrial rock music. His new album is a mix of electro-rock and the story of knocking out addiction.

There are some songs on his site at www.inspiringrock.com. It looks like the songs are temporary while wrapping up official tracks. They sound high quality to me but that’s just me. It is cool to find more music like this written particularly for addiction help in a more kickin way from a person that has been there and is making an impact for others. It’s nice to have this type of music stemming from the industrial outlet which is almost always darker in nature. Very cool.

In addition, he has free songs you can get from his site and more in his insiders area which is no charge. I also saw discounts, wallpaper, and other things it looks like he’ll be adding. It will be nice to hear the album once it is released.
